TEMPERATURE CONTROL UNIT

Many process applications are temperature dependent and require both heating and cooling of product to satisfy the process outcome. Banksman Automation & Engineering can provide a single unit solution that provides both heating and cooling functionality within a single skid mounted system.  Heating / Cooling Skids can be supplied depending on process applications and system requirements. In the majority of process applications critical temperature control is required in particular where the product is temperature sensitive. BAE can supply the process standard equipment to comply with these requirements.

BAE offers a wide variety of temperature control units engineered and manufactured to meet our customer requirements. Single source responsibility integrating the correct equipment and auxiliary components provides efficiency, reliability, performance guarantee and time savings. Our systems are complete with electrical control panel and relative wiring, pre-engineered, pre-piped.
Our temperature control units include:
⦁ PLC based control providing manual and automatic operation with interlocks for protection and remote communication for SCADA or DCS.
⦁ Industrial pumps controlled using PLC logic with automatic alternation for redundancy.
⦁ Heating and/or cooling. (optional sub-cooling)
⦁ Expansion tanks, air separator, suction diffusers and triple duty valves
Automatic control valves for accurate temperature control and adjustable set points.
⦁ Hinged door with disconnect switch interlock.
⦁ Visual and audible alarms for pump, temperature, differential pressure or communication fault.
Applications:
⦁ HVAC
⦁ Reactors
⦁ Distillation columns
⦁ Dryers
⦁ Condensers
⦁ RCVD

PCC

Power Control Centre is used for distribution and control of various power source used in industry. Normally Power Control Centers is installed near power source hence fault level is high. Busbar system in Power Control Centers are designed to suit the fault level as well as temperature rise to 40°c above ambient. Ample space is provided for cable termination. Various protections short circuit, overload, earth fault, under voltage etc are provided to protect source and equipment.

MCC

A motor control center (MCC) is an assembly of one or more enclosed sections having a common power bus and principally containing motor control units. Motor control centers are in modern practice a factory assembly of several motor starters. A motor control center can include variable frequency drives, metering and may also be the electrical service entrance for the building.

Motor control centers have been used by the automobile manufacturing industry which used large numbers of electric motors. Today they are used in many industrial and commercial applications. Where very dusty or corrosive processes are used, the motor control center may be installed in a separate air-conditioned room, but often an MCC will be on the factory floor adjacent to the machinery controlled.

VFD

A Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) (also known as AC Drive, Inverter, Adjustable Frequency Drive, Adjustable Speed Drive, Variable Speed Drive Or Variable Frequency Variable Voltage Drive) is a type of an equipment used in electro-mechanical drive systems to control & manage motor speed and torque by altering motor input voltage and frequency.

First, the Converter (a diode rectifier) converts three-phase AC power to DC power. Next, the DC Bus stores and filters the DC power in a large bank of capacitors. Last, the Inverter (a set of IGBTs) switches or inverts the DC power in a Pulse Width Modulated (PWM) AC waveform to the motor.
